Align & Rejuvenate: Enhancing Posture, Flexibility, and Mental Well-being through Stretching (resuming in February 2025)

Welcome to Align & Rejuvenate, a transformative stretch class designed specifically for adults seeking to improve their posture, flexibility, and mental health. In this class, we focus on the integration of mindful stretching techniques to bring harmony to the body, increase flexibility, and promote a positive state of mind.

Participants will go through a series of targeted stretches, gentle movements, and mindful breathing exercises. By combining these elements, participants can cultivate better posture, enhance flexibility, and experience the mental and emotional benefits that arise from nurturing the mind-body connection.

When we remove/neutralize hidden toxins in our lives, we can let go of patterns with ease and grace.   It is easier to approach life’s challenges and rise up to the occasion.  We are no longer carrying the baggage or extra weight that we feel when our body and brain is working harder in a toxic situation.  Rev. Jodi Suson-Calhoun will help you navigate a new world of emotional and physical health.

  • Water – identifying toxins without testing, reverse osmosis vs. filtered, alkaline, bottled water, resources.
  • Food – conventional, processed vs. whole, GMO vs. non-GMO, organic vs. sustainably produced, farm raised vs. wild caught, lab grown, fast food redefined,  know your farmer, resources.

This nonclinical space is facilitated by those with lived experience navigating mental health struggles, peer supporters. In this space we take turns checking in whether it be a win, a tangent about cats, or something you are struggling with. After sharing, attendees can say that they just wanted to vent or can open the floor for feedback and/or advice. There is no pressure to share to attend. You are welcome to have your camera off or to use the chat to communicate. This is a LGBTQ+ led group, the space welcomes those 18+ of all backgrounds that are welcoming of our space’s communal comfort agreement. – Hosted by Peer Support Space

Mom 2 Mom: A Moment to Exhale

The word “Mom, Mother, Mommie, Ma” comes with more than 100 definitions….the family matriarch, the CEO of the house and maybe even the business too, the house doctor, chef, secretary, educator, clinician, advisor, driver to everything and much more.  As moms around the world take on the daily task of pouring into our families, professional, civic and community lives, by the end of our days, yes, I said, our as I’m a proud mom too, we are too tired for ourselves!  Do you know pouring from an empty cup is not in the best interest of our wellness?  We, too, must take care of ourselves just like or even more than we do for those we love and serve.
